Plunge-cut roll converting without rewinding
Offering mobile service for converting large paper rolls (printing and brown). Roll converting is done without rewinding, so original mill wind tension is preserved to mill quality and allows us to convert both good and water damaged inventory.
Unique, patented roll cutting technology will successfully convert rolls up to 140″ in width by 84″ in diameter.
No weight or cut size restrictions.
Mobility of our crews and services is an important part of your success. (Also available in Canada)
Our mobile plunge-cutter will convert one roll into two rolls or more or divide for broke.

Butt Roll Unwinder
The unwinder removes excess waste from cores in a loose form that slides off the shaft with little effort and allows for easy baling or shredding. Air and electric models available.
Conventional sizer
For lease or sale - convenient for smaller resizing jobs.
Core splitter
Our Core Splitter handles cores after the waste has been stripped and any metal caps removed. They are cut into recyclable pieces.
Requirements
- Lift truck and roll clamp available with a 30’ X 30’ work space and a ceiling height of 16′.
- Power requirements: 480 volts, 3 phase power with a 60 amp breaker within 100’ of work space – if electricity is not available, a generator may be used.
- Our preference is to work 10-12 hour shifts and our work schedules can be flexible (Nights, weekends, etc.)
Licensing
The Fibercore OPS patented roll converting process continues to provide a cost effective, highly efficient alternative to traditional paper converting methods. We have secured patents in many International markets and are actively seeking partnerships that will fully saturate these and other markets.
